Title: 1952 plunger flash
Post by: anjimehra on 13.11. 2009 04:55
Can someone please tell me where I can get the sizes ( dia & length ) of the crank case & engine mounting bolts / studs. Most on my bike are a mix of non standard hardware??? I think they are 26tpi.
Thanks

http://stainlessbits.com/link12.html

The above gives dimensions from the part numbers.

You will find several different threads:

BSC 26tpi for most things on the frame,
BSW for most things that bolt into the engine cases ( mainly 20 tpi ),
BSF for the head bolts.

Good luck.

Youve really been a help. Am getting there slowly. Hope to have the engine mounted in a few days
I have posted some photos of the flash prior to stripping down, I think on my best photos or something???
Thanks
