Hello,
Sorry - this is not a twin post but I'm scratching my head at this and need some help!
I have just acquired a BSA frame - CB34 xxx. I can find that it may be a 1956 BB32 Alloy Competition but cannot find any other info or photos of the bike. Can anyone shed light on this??? The frame is s/a and is identical in every respect to a Gold Star even down to the rear set footrest brackets...

Thanks for that info - appreciated. The bike has been sitting in a shed for 23 years and has a T110 motor fitted (was used as a scrambler) - I was going to rebuild it as a road going GS replica using the T120R motor that came with it. Now I know its rarity I will restore it as it left the Factory.
Now looking for a BB32 or BB34 alloy motor and central GS oil tank. Doh!

I recently swapped bikes on a run and had a shot of a T110, I was very impressed with the motor. A Tribsa could be a great bike,
If it has evolved nicely through competition, you might already have something thats great fun...

Well heres some photos.
The bike is a 1976's / 70's scrambler outfit which has been laid up in a shed for 23 years. When I saw it I recognised the Goldie frame - lottery time - and it comes with '57 T110 and '61 Duplex frame T120R engine. Both race tuned plus loads of spares. Imagine my excitement when I nitromored the headstock to find C..B..3...(so far so good)..4 (?). What the... Clearly a Goldie frame but NOT CB32! Anway it turns out to be an ultra rare 1956 BSA Alloy Competition Clipper and it left the factory as a 350 with an alloy BB32 motor. Like in the 3rd picture advert - the second picture is one from the Barbour Museum in the States.
Head in a spin what to do? I had planned to build a touring Goldie but with the Bonnie engine and Morgo 750 cc conversion. However now I know the bike is rare and all I need to find are (a) BB32 or BB34 alloy motor (b) Goldie central oil tank and (c) 2 Gallon petrol tank my heart tells me that the right thing to do is take it back to original as per the last two photos. The rest os the bits needed I have or can be relatively easy to source.
I had a Goldie/T110 in the early 80's and I agree it was a great bike.
Anybody know where to get an engine and tanks????

Has the original scrambles gearbox survived?
I think the T120R motor will be a sought after item and maybe help you on the way to finding the
correct BSA lump
