Post by: spyke on 02.10. 2010 21:15
Hi chaps ,

I live in Wimborne (Dorset, for those of you who didnt get geography o-level) where is the best place to get my K2f Mag reconditoned?

What thoughts on whether to have manual or auto advance (dont care what was original on mine just what you think the pluses and minuses of each type are.

Cheers Spyke

Don't know what your Wimbourne address has to do with it, but get Tony Cooper to fix your mag.

I find manual magnetos awkward.

Wimborne address was to try and get someone local, just easier to deal with ie no posting etc.

I woudl recommend Paul at A.P.L Magnetos in Shaftsbury so not far away from you. He usually does a quick turnaround on KF2 mags. Full contact details are:

I guess that having a magneto shop you can walk into is foreign to me!
