Title: A10 Plunger Clutch question
Post by: pato08 on 18.11. 2010 10:55
Hi Guys

I have been looking for a clutch for my basket case 1957 A10 plunger. I have one very generously supplied by one of our forum members (thank you) *smiley4*
My question is, all the complete clutch units I have seen for sale do not have the Clutch cover (67-3263) or clutch cover washer (67-3264) are these item necessary for proper clutch operation ? Does everyone throw them away as unnecessary ?
Should I convert to after market clutch. ?

G'day Pato,
I saw a cover on ebay # 130455966887 I would use it. It keeps the clutch almost dry ( a bit of oil still gets in ) and it will stop the basket from spreading.. The clutch in my '51 is sweet.
Cheers
