Hello Renos...

I'm guessing here that you are referring to 'oil Leaking' and the one hole might be the rocker feeds am I correct? In which case there should be no oil leaking when engine has stopped. I have no knowledge of Matchless motorcycles but I shouldn't think they are supposed to leak either. Anyone care to add to this in case I'm wrong?  *conf*

Hi Renos
Is the oil coming from behind the primary Chaincase (between engine and gearbox) if so it could be just wet sumping maybe due to oil collected in the engine sump during restoration.
If it is wet sumping it might clear up after a run.

Hope you can understand, if not please ask again
