Title: BSA parts ??
Post by: Flatboy 1950 on 28.02. 2011 14:24
Can anyone identify these spacers ? I think they are BSA.
The chromed bolt with a flat milled on it & the extended nut are for the top yoke (I think)
The 7/16 X 26 nut with concentric grooves looks like a gearbox mt. nut (?)

OOps , only one pic showed up.
The spacers have a 5/16 " hole through and are 20 mm long

The little bobbins look suspiciously like the spacers which go onto (some of) the through-studs under AMC twin cylinder head nuts, although I don't have an unattached one to measure the 20mm bit of it.

The spacers look like the items on my A7 Plunger. They go between the rear mudguard and the mudguard stay.

The rounded bolt and deep nut on the left are the top yoke pinch bolts.
The bobbins (as stated above) are almost definitely rear mudguard to frame spacers. They look identical to the ones on my '61 A10

Hi, the spacers are very similar to the plunger mudguard/frame spacers but are too long - my plunger spacers are 5/8" long (17mm) and take a 3/8" set screw (two sets - both the same).

No idea about the rest except the extend bolt - for the top yoke.

Cheers
