Title: Plunger loom routing?
Post by: RoadRunner on 03.06. 2011 21:35
Hi,
Just got round to wiring up the BSA and just want to clarify if there is a 'proper' route to the h/light before fixing it in place. Should it be:
1) Fixed all along the full length of the main tube beneath the tank and around the headstock to the h/light (which seems to induce alot of stress on the loom) - coming up on the inside of the neck of the tank.
Or
2) Fixed part way along the main tube beneath the tank (from battery to rockerbox) and drop it down just after clearing the rocker box to come up beneath the tank at the front?

I guess opinions might vary but thought I'd ask anyway........

Its getting there - finally.  *grins*

Cheers

I run mine along the backbone and over the top of the front tank bolt. You have to give it a bit of slack around the headstem to allow for turning the bars left to right.
