I want to get the wheels on my `51 A7 respoked,before doing so I want to have the hub painted. The wheel builder told me to measure the offset of the front brake drum before I post the hub to him,so to do this he said lay a straight edge across the brake drum then measure down to the rim before cutting out the spokes. I did this and it appears to be 7/8 of an inch. Does that sound correct ?. I don`t want to have it respoked only to find that its out a bit.
