Title: A10 Headlight
Post by: BearKat on 24.02. 2012 09:28
Hi Guys,
I am still looking for the park light bulb holder for my 1954 Flash, the h/lamp is ok but the incorrect reflector nolds the park light bulb,it works ,but i would like the correct under slung light working,
                                           Gordon.

I'll bet you'll have fun forever looking for one of those fitments Gordon!

My under slung pilot light fitment on my B33 was also missing. What I did though was to buy one of those very cheap LED torches for a £pound and take out the round bulb arrangement (about ten LEDs in a ring) then fit a resister and join wire to modern pilot bulb connected to headlamp globe. The result is quite impressive giving a nice whiter light than the tungsten bulb. I don't think it is enough on its own though and this is probably why Lucas did away with the idea. I use one of Paul Goffs 6 volt 20watt Halogen bulbs, these give a much better light for daytime running.

Hiya Bearcat,
Don't know if it helps but there is a complete headlight with the underslung
parking light on ebay, 2 days to go, up to £53 now. Item number: 170783814310
It's under M/C Parts-BSA- Lighting. Includes switch & ammeter.
Failing that , JRP Classics-Ltd do new repros for £69.99 also on ebay.
