I need a full gasket set for a rebuild on my 1955 engine (ZA10 13***).
I'm seeing plenty advertised on eBay but they all seem to be for later "56-62" models.
So I just wondered what the differences were?

ZA10, so yours is a plunger. The chaincase gasket will be different so you will need to make your own, you don't need the round gaskets which go between the engine and engine/chaincase spacer, nor do you need the chaincase slider felt..... can't think of anything else....maybe somebody else can add to the list.

Za10 is a little earlier than 1955, 1952 at latest.

Sorry, having looked it up I'm thinking engine is 52? Bolt on box, small journal, thin flange.
If the only real difference is the chain case gasket then I can make my own, no problem.
It's all solid head gasket, rocker gaskets and timing chest ones I'm mostly worried about.
Thanks for the help and if anyone can think of anything else, let me know plz.

Head gasket, rocker gaskets, and timing chest gaskets are all the same.

Gearbox gaskets are also different.
The last couple of kits I got had both.
