Title: Production figures
Post by: tombeau on 10.02. 2013 09:34
Hi,

Out of interest, does anyone know the number of Road Rockets and Super Rockets BSA produced?
I was chatting to a friend the other day who suggested that one day a Super Rocket will be rarer than an Rocket Goldie, because all the Super Rockets have become Rocket Goldies *smile*

Cheers,
Iain

Not having that Iain!....... A Super Rocket done up like a Rocket Goldie is a Super Rocket with the wrong bits fitted. *smile*.

Does it matter?
At a show I would not slow down to look at a perfect super rocket. I've seen dozens of them.
I can't tell them apart.
Something like Muskys or Tombeaus (as an example) would pull me up though.
These bikes have been engineereed to suit the owners pocket and style and I love them.
Tombeau, your yellow bike with its front brake, high exhausts and a million other little bits radiates attitude.
Don't ever sell it.
just my opionion, cheers
