Hi all I know this sounds silly but I have found two rubber brackets that obviously need replacing but as I wasn't the person who stripped the bike I'm not sure what or where they go, can someone help please

could it be a rear mudguard bracket ,the end behind the gearbox, only thing I can think of but sure someone will know regards BobH

you don't say what bike you have, my knowledge is only swinging arm , if it's off a S/a then it's rear mudguard to top cross tube, usually just one I think but could be some had two and one goes where Topdad says

They're not standard. Wouldn't worry about it.

I'll ask a silly ? What's the baby bottle with the lure above the teat for? Are you nursing some bloody big baby bass?
Cheers

Sorry, the bike is a super rocket built onto a 1956 frame. My thought was that they maybe mudguard related, as the rubbers are perished I thought I may try to order some new ones. Thanks everyone and muskrat my other hobby is fly fishing and fly tying hence the picture, and the babies bottle is infact a bottle of infacol that belongs to my 10 week old daughter.

Part No. 42-6853 Rear mudguard distance piece.

Fido is right, they are the saddles and rubbers for the rear guard mount to the cross tubes.
The flat plates go inside the guard.
Topdad & Bill get an honourable mention also.

I stand corrected. Never seen any on an A10.
