Title: tank badges

hi everybody  .ive nearly finished my a10 with a lot of help from you guys on this forum without it i would have been in the brown stuff  . i am painting the tank all gold without any chrome , its a 53 plunger and after reading thro the postings about tank badges, there are many colour variations i am struggling to decide which colour combination went with a all gold tank i have 2 original badges in poor condition, any ideas  would help .  thanks    tw

 I have painted my 1954 bike all black with lots of chrome. The only badge that suits every colour is red, a trade mark in my view.

The badges were originally red (centre) gold infill with chrome highlighted edges .
Just had Mine enamelled recently .

Cream or white on the edges will look nice,it will break up the gold. Old English White ???

it would, thats true i havent seen a red and white , ive seen a black and silver most of them seem to be red and gold its going to take a lot of fiddling time painting them i will have to lay off the beer for a while , so ive got to make sure its the one i want *eek*   tw
