Title: BSA to have a team in the 2013 Tour de France
Post by: a10gf on 01.04. 2013 15:04
After building up the team in 1952, BSA will compete in 'Le Tour' this year, part of a move to relaunch the motorcycle brand worldwide.

The original members from the 1952 'Tour of Britain' have been training in secret in the Scottish Highlands ever since, and will make their comeback in France this year. When confronted with comments about the team average age being 94 years, the team leader shrugged the question aside with comments about having new and state of the art EPO's & steroids available which would completely offset any effects age might have on performance.

Yes, very popular here, always lots of good jokes in newspapers and on tv.
Apart from this, it's an interesting article (the scans) about the BSA cycle team of the past.

My little sister hates April fools day. It's her birthday. Happy 50th Sue.
It took me a while to twig to it as it was already the 2nd down here.
Cheers
