Title: kick start not working right
Post by: pedrochapala on 23.12. 2013 20:12
at first i thought that my leg was not rehabbed enough yet but even my amigos are having trouble starting it for me. i used to be able to do it easily before my back and leg got buggered. i remember reading something about false neutral on here. could that be it and if so how do i get rid of that?
gracias and feliz navidad!

G'day Pedro. Do you mean that the kick lever feels solid at the top and won't move? If so "they all do that sir". Both mine do it from time to time. Caused by worn bushes under the kick start pinion and kicker shaft. Sometimes it frees after 1 stab, other times it might take 5 or 6 stabs to get it. If it becomes a regular occurrence it will be time to re-bush.
