Title: Brake light switch
Post by: ShaunMac on 13.04. 2014 13:45
Anybody know where I can get a brake light switch for my 61 Super Rocket swing arm?
I bought one off eBay but it works the opposite way and has an angled plate. I'm wondering if it's the one for a plunger? Anyway, had a look at modifying it but don't think I can.
I've looked on a few websites and can't find one.
Help!

not sure what type they use- is it a pull or push type? part number would be handy

Maybe similar to one from one of the other 'Meridan Marques' ...?

Try Priory Magnetos, beezermacc on the forum. He has a range of spares in addition to mags and dynamos.

My 61 Flash had a lever type, I have read of this problem of them working the wrong way, not sure if the wrong ones are A50/65 or maybe A50/65 type might be right, sure someone here will know tho

If anyone finds a source for these let me please let me know because I have a rubbish spring universal one on the A7 and I hate it. Would love to find the right one and replace it.

Hi All,
I was looking for the correct switch for my  61SR for years and years  *problem* *problem*

I finally got one on Ebay a couple of months ago  *wink2* *wink2*
It has the serial or part number 34257B1  63 on it

I had been using a microswitch bolted to a piece of flat stainless fixed to the back of the toolbox where the proper one fits

HTH
