G'day harley1450. All A10 barrels are interchangeable, big/small fin, thin/thick flange. Why nog get your fins repaired? I just got 3 fins repaired for $80. Just need to find a donor.
Cheers

There must be some Brit members with a dead donor barrel but if you get stuck I've got quite a few donor big "fins" from a barrel on the shelf and can send one back to the motherland of beesa's; might pay to post an image of the barrel showing the missing fin (s?)

ive had it apart

that would do it

little cogs need to marked somehow before taken out, they need to go back as they came out to spin free.
However I have done the same and although stiff at first it seemed to free up after a while and has covered many miles since

A mate is just fitting an SRM pump and the paperwork with that mentions it is only free turning while the engine turns forward. The worm gear will typically creep up the body if rotated backwards. But forwards it should be free turning. Unless it is keep it on the bench.

I find if you do the screws up finger tight and spin the shaft then tighten the screws little by little whilst spinning the shaft. A good dose of light oil helps. Spin only in the direction it works and once done it should spin easy with your thumb.
Cheers

i would strip the gears as metal can become inbeded in them and also check for burghs around the drive casting
