Nothing to do with BSA's but check this out.

Makes you wonder what our grandkids will be riding.

Impressive tech.

Only batteries\storage lagging behind, the day will come when they really go down in weight + up in capacity. That's the end of explosion based engine technology in many areas, like cars etc replaced horses and donkeys :O)

Building one myself, a scooter not a racer, only like 30hp not 200  *smile*
Top speed around 120km/h, range around 80km.

The only race at the IOM that I was bored. No smell, no sound, no fun.
Cheers

You can like both, riding electric vs. gas is like a sailing boat vs. motor boat, can hear the birds around you...
Not talking about racing, guess you haven't got the time listening for birds. *smile*

It's not a future that I want any part of. And it's not at all like sailing - that is a free ride.

I think they've reduced permitted sound levels at speedway matches here in the UK this last couple of years, and it does feel somehow both flatter and slower.

I don't understand why you have to choose side and be either for or against something, it's better to keep an open mind.
I have been riding gas 2-wheelers for like 40 years and electric for more than 20.
Both have their dis/advantages and I still love them with equal passion.*smile*

It's just that the stockists will be at least 500 miles apart.

And sorry - Not trying to create waves, just sayin'; it's really not for me.
Same way I just don't 'get' steam engines. But I do like 50's jet plane technology.
