Title: Rear Brake shoes for 63SR
Post by: worntorn on 23.10. 2015 17:17
My SR  is in need of new rear brake shoes and I'm finding all kinds on EBay, all made by Emgo of Taiwan. From my past experience, some Emgo stuff is OK, some of it is low in quality.
Are their brake shoes reasonable? They don't have to last a million miles, I won't pile a lot of miles on this bike. Strong braking would be nice though.
Is there a better brand available?

Hi Glen,
My opinion is that NOS linings will be much better than the replacement shoes
These turn up on ebay or at jumbles
That or send your shoes to a brake specialist for relining with the correct material

Here's the website from a guy I met a couple of times on various bikejumbles.
Has a huge lot of NOS linings in stock.
