One Call - decent price initially and you would expect it to rise the next year, but it was the reason given for the rise that I thought so blatant

Pretty much any of the robbing B45742DS.
The law changes soon so that they can no longer do this, in reality it will just mean it gets dearer for everyone and there'll be no introductory offers.

Most companies - insurers/brokers these days seem to follow a policy (pun) of hiking prices on existing customers. I guess as a business model they end up ahead financially, with enough of us just paying up. Unfortunately it does mean that you need to shop around every year at renewal time - all rather tedious if you are running a number of bikes.

 Something else to watch...Some Policies will auto renew "To ensure you are never uninsured". Read the small print and don't get caught. Remains to be seen how the UK market goes in the light of new legislation mentioned earlier.

Bill try Lynbrook , been with em for 10 yrs and i'm only paying about £8 more than last yr , good service ,I'm happy with 'em.
Auto renew isn't to bad really as you get 14 days to change your mind ,  so it doesn't worry me however the company who you pay mthy to can be a bloody nightmare ,now pay yrly.

Ah - and another thing to check for; some policies exclude cover for pillions. Could you imagine taking a policy on a car that didn't allow for passengers?

I think they can’t exclude personal injury to passengers.

Both of my bike policies exclude pillion cover, but that's ok as they both only have one seat.
