Yes, Mosin has got an uphill battle ongoing. Although owning a vintage bike should be a joy, things do happen, & I hope the Forum can be of help for such instances.

Reviving the thread with some depressive photos... Due to work, time and all sorts of causes my engine restoration plan is going nowhere... and the warm sun is shining outside on beautiful roads, while half the bike is spread in shelves all over the house

Sorry mate, I'll have to inform the Owner's Club about this horrendous case of non species-appropriate motorcycle husbandry. Battery-caged, no chance for free-range and showing clear signs of mistreatment.

The BSAOC's special task force is going to come, pick it up and hand it over to SRM.
