A7 snapped yoke
« on: 04.07. 2009 16:13 »

Look what happened to my top yoke *eek*

I am on the look out for another at the end of July, my mate is lending me his until I can save up enough to buy one.  Anyone have a good (cheap) place to get one from?

Andy

What were you doing, wedging open the clamp slot to remove the yoke?

Andy ,
Your not too far from Burgess Hill. You could give Give Andy Cook a ring at "Brits and Pieces" 01444 870708.Last time I was there he had 3 large boxes of fork yokes. His prices are  very reasonable and he lets you poke through his stock to find what you are after.

Hi Andy,

I'm sure that I have a spare top yoke in good condition tucked away in my shed somewhere.  I will check it out in the morning.   *smile*

If it makes you feel any better when my bike spat out the baffle from the Dunstal Replicas then went straight through the radiator of the Ford Landu behind me and totally trashed it, very expensive.
