Miniature hand drill & bits from Aldi UK

I asked my son to pick these up for me.
This kit may be useful to some of you. I bought it for my model making.

It's interesting to me to see left-handed drill bits. They just look wrong! I guess it's because some people will only be able to operate the tool with their left hand.

I bought a set of left-hand drills at Aldi (much bigger) used for removing broken studs, you're going to drill a hole for a stud remover anyway so you might as well give them a try, used one once and it worked so they have their own little space in the drill drawer

I made this electric powered park flier to get my hand back into modelling before I start on the half completed big one in the attic. I've not had a chance to maiden yet because of the dreaded you-know-what. Here is a video of someone having far too much fun flying one.

I'll probably do the same. I've now spent to much time and love on the entry level plane I'm building to learn on. Maybe get myself a RTF model to cut my teeth and do my auguring in on. This is the current build;

The plane in the attic is a Ben Buckle, (ex Kielkraft) Falcon. A mate at work gave it to me. He assembled the fuselage and wings and lost interest. I have a really nice engine for it. Here is a picture of a Falcon.

I have exactly the same combo waiting to go up on the board as the next build. And probly on the basis of an earlier posting from you on the matter. Ought to make up a test rig and give the engine a run some time at least. My Bandit will be under electric power. Wonder how easy the valve clearances are to set?

Good idea, I'd like to hear the engine running. I'll research the correct prop size for the Falcon and get some fuel, a tank and a glow-plug energiser. I can manage to make an engine mount.
