Good advice from John - I had the bolt sheer off and smash the bottom out of the crankcase.

Not a lot of progress since last post.
Crankshaft is getting re-ground so waiting on that. Have -010" shells and -020" timing side bush.

Had a few people now say that the score in my cylinder isn't a major concern. I will give it a hone and run as is if it looks ok. Not a huge job to fix later if needed.
I saw a post on here about JP pistons saying the pistons are ok but not the rings. So thinking of replacing rings only. Any thoughts on this statement and suggestions for ring brands?

the only rings i would buy are gandini , bad experiences with some other makes
