Hi Everone

The nice people at Carol Nash sent me my renewal quote £203.00 for the BMW, Super Rocket and C11G .
I thought this is gone up bit, rung around Footman James etc being quoted £260.00 and above.

Any suggestions ?

 Can second that about Peter James I have an A65 Star Twin which I insuired with Peter James In April fully comp with agreed valuation for £74 When the insurance was due for my A10 which has been insured with Carole Nash for the last 15 years became due in september I added it onto the policy with agreed valuation  and they only charged me £15.

Put the Beemer on ebay, sell me the Super Rocket and just ride the C11G.

I have an A7 and a BMW R1100R both insured with Ebike.
When I bought the BMW I thought it would be simple to add it as a 2nd bike to the exisiting Ebike policy, but it turned out that the A7 is on Classic cover and as a "modern bike" the 12 year old BMW had to be seperately insured. It also transpired that the Classic cover doesn't attract No Claims bonus although I was eventually able to get a concession on that from them.
Not an ideal situation but from memory the premiums were £65 for the A7 and £110 for the BMW, so I suppose adding another classic would get it to around £230. In comparison Carol Nash @ £203 sounds reasonable.

I found the same thing when trying to insure two classics on Ebike, they won't do it, I also tried a few others with most of them it couldn't be done and those that did wanted more to insure two classics on one insurance than insuring them separately.
It's a funny old world the insurance one but then again closely linked to banking

You have to make sure that you compare like for like. Carole Nash gives free recovery, but do the others?

Yes many do including Peter James ,Footman James and Ebike

Another recommendation for Peter James - I've been using them for a few years. Unlike FJ and CN, they do have proper people to speak to and understand the market a bit better. As well as being cheaper.
