Swingarm dimensions

Hi guys
Im in a tribsa project..in the begginig actually..i just start to collect parts
For now i have a A10 swingarm frame,TR6 unit engine and a trident twin lead front hub and A65 or A50 swingarm
So my question is: can i fit a swingarm from A65 on A10 frame?
Did anyone did it?
i cant find the dimensions of A10 swingarm to match them with my A65 ones..
if someone can help me with A10 dimensions would have been great..

The A10 had two different swing arms during its production life.

The early swing arm had a brake plate anchor point on the riders left to accommodate a single sided brake hub

The other swing arm had the brake plate anchor point on the riders right to accommodate a full width brake hub

Some clever forum member did these drawings with dimensions that I found useful

yes you can fit a A65 swing arm in an A10 frame.
I did this for a new race projekt.
I can shoot some pictures tomorrow.

I ve got this raw frame, as unfinished project with a wrong build swing arm, some years ago.
So it was easier for me to get a complete one from an A65 to fit in.
This swing arm has no silentbushes as the A10 or Goldstar.
Its like a slide bearing, simple to work with.
And much cheaper and not so hard to find like original swing arms.

Well if i can fit the A65 swing arm..i will
I just worry about the shocks..if they will be straight...and also if is the length is the same..
Now that i have the dimensions i will check the swing arm that i have..
My frame was too rusty and the frame numbers desapear..so i cant know which of the 2 frames i have..
But the brakes should be on the right side cause it has this spot for the rear brake cable..
So i have the late A10 frame..correct me if im wrong..
But if i will put the A65 swing arm i will still have to make changes on that cause the hub i will use is
the conical from trident..and the brakes are on the left side

   I don't know if it would be worth the shipping to Cyprus, but I have a couple extra swingarms. Not sure of the year, but I can check if you're interested. I expect shipping from USA could be expensive, but you can have one, no charge (except shipping) if it'll help.

Hi jachenbach and thanks for the help that u are offering..
I checked the A65 swing arm that i have but is more than 2cm longer and the shocks place again more than 2 cm closer to inside..
So i dont want to use that swing arm..the point now is that im close to buy a A10 swing arm from ebay..it will finish in 4 days..
So in case that i wont take it i will let u know..but thanks again.

Yes .I fitted a P/U. Spitfire swinging arm to a BB33 frame ,but it was to long .I do think you would be far better getting an A10 one ..Good luck ..
