hard chrome stanchions
« on: 06.12. 2015 02:21 »
I see Burton has these again, last time I checked they were out of stock.

Has anyone here fitted these with their bushings, and what did you think about them?

I have three stanchions, one is bent, one lived in a mud puddle for 20+ years, and all are badly pitted. I could maybe get a partially working pair with JB weld and a lathe polish- but how good would they really be.....

Also try Paul Goff. He sometimes has hard chromed stanchion, spring, bush and oil seal kits.

Hi,
I have fitted several sets of hard chrome stanchions,
as long as they come with matched bushes they are great
They are widely available at present
