Yeah. I'm on the lookout for a 20's Sunbeam myself as it happens.

Hi Bob
Been collecting them since early 70's. Available at scrap prices those days. Picked up 5 bikes for Rs 1000 ( 10 sterling ) in 1973
1914 Ricardo Triumph, 1918 Model H Triumph, 1922 Triumph, 1924 SV 500 BSA, 1928 Triumph 500 SV. Over the years picked up around 30 bikes for the price one pays nowadays for 1 bike. To name a few, 1936 Velocette MSS 500, Norton Inter plunger OHC 500, Indian sport scout, Ariel Sq 4, Moto Guzzi Falcone 500, MV Augusta
Also own a 1919 T Ford & Iam only the second owner. Attaching a few photos

Very interesting Anji, I used to work for a company that had been set up and run by the guy who got the riccy Triumph going properly , Victor Horsman, in the basement of the shop on Renshaw st Liverpool ,there was a complete one left on display , never realised just what it was!

Hi Topdad
yes, Ive also missed out on some super deals way back when nobody thought that these bikes would some day be collectors items. No foresight !!!. I was once offered a 1920 Rolls Silver Ghost for Rs 2000 in the 60's & thought it was way too expensive !!
I was once offered a 500 Goldstar for sterling 200 & didnt go for it. Anyway, no regrets
