Chaincase breather? Do you mean the outlet from the primary chaincase end of the cam tunnel?  Which is the main engine breather outlet that drops oil onto the secondary chain.

If so, none of my engines has the spigot tube in place so there's nothing to connect a drain pipe to.

I've tapped mine on both my A10 engines so I can run breathers (currently only fitted to the race engine) and I run Bunn breathers so this is only an intake through a filter in a plastic bottle (bottle required for scruitineering). I exit methanol polluted air out of the rocker box to another catch bottle .

On a road engine I probably wouldnt bother with fitting a breather hose.
On my beesa preunit single I run my breather (copper line) into the back of the oil tank.

On my plunger engine there is a pressure relief pipe in the oil tank that is routed down to the gearbox sprocket I'm not aware of another breather on the engine.

The engine has a breather.
It comes out just in front of the secondary drive sprocket.
The crankcase has an oiler.
It comes out of a banjo on the back end of the primary chaincase

Which one are you talking about.

Here's a pic of the crankcase breather exit port

Some have the spigot some do not

as someones gone to the trouble of fitting a spigot, I'd be tempted to run a hose off it over the top of the chain guard so you can see if anything comes out  *dunno*. But I've never seen one with a spigot so believe this is a mod.
For race motors all orifices must typically be plumbed to breather bottles

I wouldn't bother with spigots and pipes.
If your oil pump is in good order and you drain sump after extended storage nothing should exist from this orifice.
