Rear wheel assembling A10 Golden Flash
« on: 13.02. 2016 17:34 »
I'm a little bit frustrated because I'm not sure how the cover and retainer of the left bearing should be mounted. Are there any pictures? There is no. 42-6105 and 42-6328. I think I miss 42-6328 but not sure.
Can anybody give help?
Thx
Gerry

Gerry, what year is the GF? and what type of rear brake do you have?
Is it rod operated, or cable operated?

The left side bearing fits in the sprocket. The dummy spindle pushes through from the inside then there is a distance collar on the outside of the dummy spindle which is trapped between the bearing and the swinging arm so the sprocket is held firm a against the swinging arm by the inner bearing track. If you are using sealed bearings the felt grease retainer and tin cover for the grease retainer are surplus to requirement. Thx for the detailed information! I have no sealed bearings. So I need both 42-6105 and 42-6328.
