A7 push rods
« on: 05.04. 2016 15:19 »
For building up a new A7 SS enginge with no push rods I need to know the length of these.
I will shorten alloy ones from a beatle engine as I do for the A10.

Thank you for any information.

cheers Klaus

G'day Klaus.
I haven't got an exact length but they should be about 5.7mm shorter than A10. 1/2 the difference in stroke A7 = 72.6, A10 = 84 = 11.4/2 = 5.7
Cheers

Gday Klaus,

I have 2 sets of A7 pushrods.
One is the old steel set at 205mm and 229mm.
The other is a new alloy set at 205mm and 230mm.
Hope that helps,    cheers
