BSA A10 Brake Light Switch Query
« on: 22.05. 2016 11:57 »
Hello Gents

I'm trying to find out which is the correct, original brake light switch for my '62 Flash.  The pictures show the one I bought recently in good faith (told it would fit the A10), but there's no way it'll fit.  Comparing it to other similar switches, the arm seems the opposite way round and is permanently on in that position meaning it pushes off against the spring (actually, does this reverse if I swop the wires round??).  Questions are: what will this switch fit and what is the correct one for my Flash?  It has the numbers 1703A 12 60 stamped on the arm and Lucas Made in England on the back - the bracket is threaded. Cheers in advance.
