Weather here is changeable with spells of BSA maintenance continuing into the spring  *whistle*
A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.

I'm thinking of going to the BSAOC South Derbyshire camp this weekend. Hoping the rain holds off for a while.

a sunny day here in Northumberland, Just picked up a new car after 8 years of Onry's Focus, in which it needed (apart from service items) 1 set of front brake pads, felt guilty parting with the old girl but, she was about to become high maintenance for the next year (timing belt water pump and big service) so swap her for a sexy little Fiesta, was concerned about the 1.0 litre three cylinder motor (Focus was the sportier 1.6), needn't of worried, give it's head up the Lion bank - turbo kicked in - weh hey - get in there.
Now back to the roses, shed renovation, paths to clear and gravel, one of these days I'll get back to BSA's

Heavy storms darn sarf last night. Couldn't get in to the smoke this morning:

------
Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Maryland and Shenfield some lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 23:59
------

And boy does it take a lot to disrupt that service (!).

Yeah we reportedly had 33 degrees here in the smoke yesterday. Same temp as Delhi supposedly. I was in an air conditioned office all day, so it was nice to wander out for my train at 17:30 to find the usual excuses at Liverpool Street Station and an overloaded concourse. Then the heave ho as several thousand of us (it seemed) have the scramble for seats on a late running and short train that has sat in the sidings all day with the windows and doors all closed up, and the rooves (roofs?) on the rolling stock are all matt black for some reason.  Nice.
