Primary chaincase oil level bolt washers

Sorry to repeat. Mine leaks through fibre washers. Can you use copper or something different to avoid leaks.

You might need to spot face the recess, to ensure it is flat. Once it is flat, the fibre washer will do it's job. Also check that the (fibre washer) end of the screw head is flat.

I used a small 'O' ring. Of course that means the screw cannot be dead tight but I don't have a leak.

I use this on all plugs/bolts that need to be oil tight.

This product does not seem to be available in the UK, unless anyone knows differently? All the sources that I found selling it on the internet are are American based, with shipping charges of between £14 and £30!!!

Try PTFE tape, very easy to get hold of, its the sealant tape plumbers use.
