Invite to show your bike
«

I have 5 tickets left for bikes only to the Uxbridge car[Middlesex] auto show July 17th .I extend an invite to anyone to display their bike ,Im displaying two bikes and have signed up four others so far [dont have to be a bsa]. The ticket allows free entrance to the show [and any pillion] . My stand is part of a company car club that has reserved 30 slots. All bikes will be under a canopy. My club has full under cover marquees and bbq cooking . We always have fun at this show and I would welcome anyone that showed interest.

if you follow the link this was two years ago when I displayed my yellow Ferrari.[in the first picture].

I've been thinking of coming along to this show; I'm in Leamington Spa, so would be a 140 mile return trip; however I see from our calendar that we have relatives visiting for the weekend so, for that reason, I'm out. Sorry!

here I am at the show ...too old or tipsy maybe to get it on its center stand ....had to ask a younger guy to help me ...In my defence it was a very small target area for the stand [a plank of wood]

I'm going with the "tipsy" option.
Nice '59 Chevy in the background.

I grew up close to the Iron Bridge on the Uxbridge road near Hanwell. The bus I used to catch was the 207. I remember the Routemaster bus, as seen in your picture being introduced, in 1957 I think.
