A nagging doubt - any views appreciated

All

I'm sure you've all been here before. I have one of those 'nagging doubts' about some work I recently did on my bike! Here's my issue:

A little while ago I had trouble with my cush drive nut (on 1959 A10 Golden Flash) coming loose. I seem to have fixed that by changing the chush drive nut for a modern one, tightening it right up and using threadlock. So far it's staying on!

However, I have this nagging doubt that, because I also used gasket sealant when I put the primary chain case back on (reasonably liberally, just on the primary chain gasket obviously), that in the course of that I may somehow have bunged up an oil feed of some sort.

This may just be neurosis but is it possible, in putting the gasket on with sealant, to accidentally block up an oil feed and should I take it apart just in case given the presumably fatal consequences (for the bike) of getting something like this wrong?

Cheers

Sam

I don't think there's anything you'd call an oilway in there.

TT short-cutted/rounded me up me there, there's no oil feeds to cut off. Worst you can do is block the level screw or drain screw..keeps the oil in *eek* unheard of on a BSA
