Jim, et al,

Let me know what time the boat arrives, I'll send an Uber to get you to the airport. Hmm, timing might not work.

No way Chicago, with about 400 riders in 2018 (2019 cancelled for rain), could safely assemble, not to mention the crowd restrictions by ordinance at All Rise Brewery, the start and end point. Doesn't make sense for me to ride 30 miles to the start point based only on the CHANCE of meeting up with other riders.

Not that the DGR is high up on the list of sad results due to Covid-19,  but it would have been nice to have the group ride after last year's cancellation. Nevertheless, I plan to enjoy Sunday out in nature.

Ride Dapper.

Hi All
I know the uptake is low but once again I have registered and again I could not seam to find the way to join a team. I then used Richard's link and pressed the button from there to join. It does not appear to show anywhere on the dashboard but I assume I am a member of the forum team. I will just do a local loop on Sunday probably on my own  *smile*

Angus,

You are definitely on the Team. When you log in to the DGR site go to your Profile Page (gold box, upper right corner) and scroll down to "View Team Page." If you are already in your Profile Page the gold box will say "Dashboard." From there, I'm not sure if you will see the "My Team Dashboard" or if that only appears to me, the Team "founder" (for lack of a better word).

G'day Richard.
I'll be heading off in a few hours on the Cafe I hope. Snowed here yesterday!
Looking at the Leader board 1st US, 2nd Au, 3rd UK.
The website is still shite. I'm registered with the Forum team but it appears I'm not registered personally!
Great to see e's home town and your bike featured.
Cheers

G'day Fellas.
Well it was solo. Couldn't find any dapper riders around here, just a dozen moderns passing through.
Ended up taking the A7 through town and then up Scenic Hill, across to Mt Victoria and down the pass to home. About 40 miles. Then I jumped on the HD and did the same.
Now off to the youngest g/sons 7th b/day party. Hope they've got fairy bread!
Cheers.

I'm still out at the Morton Arboretum. About another half to go in terms of miles.

Some of the Kenya team did a socially distanced DGR this year. We had a few exceptions and had a new Africa Twin tag along.. My A10 did all was asked of, although I was more aware of the brakes left wanting in our sometimes unconventional traffic..
Here a link to the write up with pictures. It was a 175 mile round trip on mostly good, some time bad and occasionally off road conditions. The bike was in better condition than me when we completed the trip..
