A10 Oil pressure relieve valve
« on: 29.08. 2016 03:53 »
Just wondering. Will an oil pressure release valve from an A65 (part number 70-9213) fit an A10 engine?

Good question, and given SRM list them as one and the same thing: yes
http://shop.srmclassicbikes.com/product/stainless-steel-pressure-release-valve-bsatriumph-twins
keep in mind I recall the earlier A65's had a ball type unit as per the A10 and the very late ones went to an improved piston type that were apparently much better and presumably as per the SRM type
So if you're looking second hand keep that you want the late type I recall around 1970 on ??
(also when they widened the joint surfaces and went to a better pump material...)
A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.

That's the type I bought from SRM and fitted to my Plunger.
