I'd like to put a side stand on my '59 Super Rocket, any ideas on where to get one that won't let me down? Thanks in advance Tomcat

A lot of the repro new ones are pretty rubbish
I bought one from a reputable UK supplier and was rather underwhelmed so didnt end up fitting it.
I'd be checking out swap meets and putting a wanted ad on the forum.
I'm currently relying on my mainstand (which also needed remedial repairs) on my solo
.
Of course sidecars don't need a side stand!

If you have the lug on the frame, mid 60's unit single side stands are cheap, available, and work surprisingly well. They do take some "fitting" but not a big deal for the price.
