hi with the fork legs for 8in single sided brake getting harder to find people are using the fork legs with the boss for brake anchor and removing it but the 8inch brake has a 9/16ths spindle thread and the legs are 1/2inch can you obtain a spindle to fit

Did you post a similar question recently ??
I doubt that such a spindle is available
The best solution would be to machine and tap the fork leg to suit a standard stepped spindle?
That or get a special spindle made

hi yes i did post before the standard 8in spindle is fine for the legs and drum only the thread size i could reduce the spindle from 11/16ths to 1/2 in if no one makes them thanks

I don,t think the spindle will be long enough to thread for a nut outside the fork leg??
