About 7 or so years ago it became a status symbol to own a Harley around here.
Suddenly you had all these 40-55 year olds who have never owned a bike buying full loaded dresser bikes. The local technical collage made a fortune on classes for getting a bike license.
It's not uncommon to see advertisements for an 8 year old bike with 1400 miles on it. Main problem is they have sat in the garage slowly rusting because they have not been started in the last 7 years.
Fuel like jelly, battery dead and corroded, cables seized, tires flat and rust in the barrels.
