Thread on fork sliders
« on: 06.12. 2016 17:33 »
Hi
I'm trying to find out what the thread size is on the top of the front fork sliders where the oil seal holder screws onto. Bike is 1960 swingarm model.
Anybody Know?

Thanks

Peter

I have measured an old seal holder and it came up as 28 tpi. Diameter is a bit tricky but a lucky guess would be 1 27/32-ish?
Maybe someone can confirm or deny?

I'm about to put the forks back together on a '61 A10 and will measure the thread accurately when I get back from Xmas shopping later. I can measure the diameter more accurately from the inside of the lower fork leg.
