Hi All...thanks again for all your replies. I didn't go for the SRM tool because I have an original cush drive nut on my other bike.

Be aware that if the SRM nut is fitted to a plunger / rigid engine ("semi-unit"), the cush drive will not work. The SRM nut needs to be machined (stepped) to match the profile of the original nut; easy to do, but essential.

There is no issue with the later (swinging arm) engines.
