We (The Cheshire BSA Branch) have our first official run of the year on Sunday, 2nd April. We meet at Macclesfield Leisure Centre at 9.00 for a 9.15 start then a short run to a local Pub where they serve a buffet breakfast, yes! eat as much as you like for £4.95. After we've emptied their larder we'll be cruising around the Derbyshire Dales, probably covering about 60 miles. There are usually about ten bikes on this run. Anybody who wants to join us will be most welcome. More details on the www.cheshirebsa.co.uk website.

I would really like that but I have too much going on in my life at the moment. My daughter has just had her second child, (that makes four grandchildren; all girls that I have!). My wife and I need to be available to go and help her because son-in-law is abroad a lot. I haven't started the Beeza yet this year.

I am definitely going, in spirit. Wish I could be there for real. I'd even be willing to down an English breakfast  *smile*.

So, what's the name of the breakfast pub? Maybe I can check the menu. When you're living vicariously you need all the help you can get.
