I hope anyone here who lives in New Zealand are safe from the cyclone that's coming.

We're having a cyclone?

This is sort of the second one in a couple of weeks, lots of roads closed there's been big evacuations although this is mainly in the central North Island

A week ago they evacuated about 2000 people from Edgecumbe, here's some video of a jet boat touring the streets

cheers Greybeard. after weather panic (I took the car to work *sad2*) and school closures the cyclone snuck out to sea and largely missed most of NZ, except a few few tress down and power cuts in some smaller centres. just another rainy day here in the north.

Dont ya just love these people in their boats creating wash into houses?
I was helping a mates elderly father clean up after a creek flooded his house,
Morons in a boat were zooming up & down the street creating wash which went inside the house,
They got the shock of their lives when the outboard motor was ripped from the back of the boat when they hit the roll over bar of the VW buggy that had been washed out the driveway onto the road..  *lol*
Hope all is well with our mates in NZ..
