Tune up time
« on: 22.05. 2017 18:40 »
As I've recently removed the cylinder head to take the engine out for gearbox access I've taken the opprtunity to do some maintenance. I regapped and retimed the magneto. I've decoked the head and piston tops. For once the job of fitting the rocker box went really well. I slacked off the rocker adjusters and held them up with elastic bands. Only one pushrod decided to go walkabout but I quickly rounded it up. I've also lowered the carb needle by one groove as the plugs have never looked like the right colour. The bike always went well but now she flys and the gearbox is great!  *smile*
