Had an annoying leak from the rocker box to head joint, so off came the box to find the rear fixing stud had stripped.
What to do, take to engineering shop or purchase helicoil kit and fit.
Brought a V Coil kit off EBay, comes complete with drill, tap insertion tool and tang breaker and inserts to suit 5/16" BSW, cost was £28.00 and worked a treat.
Treated her to some copper gaskets from TT John and we are back up and running.
Forgot to mention I must be loosing my touch as getting the push rods located was a nightmare, even with the good lady helping we failed.
Then had a break and bingo they fell into place, must be the worst job on the A10.
