!951 A7 front brake

Can the 7" half-width hub front wheel on my 1951 A7 be swapped out for an 8" half-width hub type? Machining up spacers or altering off-sets etc wouldn't be a problem.

Fork bottoms and spindle different as is the brake plate anchor. Might be easier to get the correct parts.
