Pistons & crank balancing

What are the recommended pistons nowadays?  I had a fruitless search looking for Hepolites. I'm using GPM pistons now that I'm not too happy with.  They are heavier than Hepolites.
Trevor & Richard.  Who did your balancing?

John who was with bassetdown for years and was probably the man there.
He is or was at the time I had the A65 crank done working for himself at Chisledon just off the Marlborough road one mile up from junction 15 of the M4. I do not have his details but I can certainly call in when I am up that way like possibly tomorrow and get them if it is any help.

Goffy,
I think that the bloke who does my balancing may be a bit too far away for you.
I have no problems whatsoever with GPM pistons and are running them in my Atlas at the moment.
They are in my RGS and were fine, when it was on the road.
I have used Hepolites in the past and I don't think they were any better. It's a case of using what is available at a reasonable cost.
I have no-name pistons in my Flash, 7.25:1, and they seem as good as any.
Trev.
