I have a Gold Star front wheel I would like to fit to my A10 Super Rocket and I would like a pair of Gold Star fork lowers, I understand there is a model of A65 that has the same set up, not sure but could be 1966 model. Any help appreciated, thank you.

 I am still looking, the ones I thought would work didn't have the brake anchor boss.

A65 fork lowers will have a larger hole at the bottom as they use a damper rod in them... that will have to be used as well if you use the A65 ones. I think we would have A65 lowers, but that is all

Thanks for quick reply. I was planning on fitting damper rods, I have a set for the A10 Forks. I will need to buy all new stauncheons, bushes, seal holders etc any way so let me know once you have checked please. Do they have the longer brake anchor boss?

2 types of A65 fork bottoms to take Gold Star type brake with screw in spindle;

1964/65 sports models same as A10/Gold Star can take the Dow dampers.

1966 on with screw in spindle for Gold Star type brake, with much improved damping using proper damper assembly fixed in the bottom by grub screw.

1966 type below.  From workshop manual.

For goodness sake don't use that fork leg; it's bent!

Gold Star fork bottoms dont have a boss for brake plate when using the 8 inch half width or 190 mm brake. Brake is anchored by a torque arm from the mudguard mount bracket to brake plate.

The bottoms for 7 inch brake used on scramblers has a boss which takes the circular lug on that brake plate.
